Studying medicine in Bratislava
To pass a semester in the degree programme, it is necessary to achieve at least 30 ECTS points (so-called credit points). Students earn these by successfully passing various examinations in different subjects with different ECTS point allocations.
Studying at Comenius University Bratislava involves a tightly timed curriculum with small weekly interim tests to keep students up to date and maintain a high standard. Thanks to the supervision of small groups of approx. 10 students per group, students experience a unique and very practice-orientated course of study with a very good standard of teaching. For the entrance exam at Comenius University in Bratislava, applicants must be able to answer a total of 1500 questions (750 biology; 750 chemistry) in English, of which 200 questions are asked during the entrance exam. The questions in this entrance exam are multiple choice.
