Practical training in medical studies

A key feature of the medical degree programme at the Medical University in Poznan (PUMS) is the practical training. As early as their second year, students come into direct contact with patients in the university's clinical facilities and gain valuable practical experience. This experience enables them to apply theoretical knowledge in practice by actively participating in medical procedures and operations.

The university has a special building for medical simulations and standardised patient exercises, which makes PUMS a pioneer in this field among medical universities in Poland. The training is enriched by state-of-the-art technology and experienced professionals, which makes the learning process not only educational, but also challenging and entertaining. For the practical consolidation of clinical skills, students have access to specially equipped practice rooms that simulate a real-life practice environment.
