In which languages can I study at the universities offered by futuredoctor?
In German and in English.
At which universities can I study medicine abroad in German?
Studying medicine abroad in German is possible at the medical faculties in Pecs and in Budapest at the Semmelweis University possible in Hungary.
Can I apply to study medicine abroad with a specialised baccalaureate or a vocational baccalaureate?
Yes, in the Slovakia, Czech Republic and Latvia this is possible!
What costs can I expect for studying medicine abroad?
The exact costs will of course depend on the country and the university you choose to study medicine without NC, TMS, EMS and MedAT.

What makes futuredoctor's offer so special?
futuredoctor was founded by two doctors who also successfully studied medicine in other European countries.
The motivation and idea behind futuredoctor arose from the difficulties that can be expected when studying medicine abroad. In addition to numerous bureaucratic hurdles (notarisation and translation of documents into a foreign language, submission of documents, dealing with authorities), application processes, preparation for entrance examinations, finding accommodation and support with concerns during studies - the two founders have been successfully helping future doctors to gain a place at medical school for over 6 years. Is there an entrance test for studying medicine abroad?
Most universities require an entrance test, some have an individual application process without an entrance test. One of our student advisors will be happy to provide you with more information about this in a telephone interview. Simply here make an appointment!
Does futuredoctor guarantee me a place at university?
Medical study places at the universities we universities offered are allocated primarily via an entrance test.
Therefore we cannot give you a guarantee.
Nevertheless, over the years we have been able to continuously improve and optimise our offer in terms of our preparation for such entrance tests. We are therefore convinced that if you use the learning materials we provide, attend the preparation courses and study continuously, nothing will stand in the way of your place at medical school.
If I pass the entrance test, am I obliged to accept the study place?
No, that's entirely up to you.
Can I repeat the entrance exam for a medical degree programme abroad?
Yes, you can retake the entrance tests at the medical universities offered by futuredoctor as often as you like.
What does the futuredoctor offer cost?
In addition to the tuition fees and the costs mentioned above, there is also a placement fee for futuredoctor's support. But what exactly does that mean? futuredoctor helps you to get your dream study place.
In return, we charge you an application fee of 900 euros (including application to 3 universities) and a one-off placement fee of one year's tuition fee. However, you only pay the placement fee if you actually get your study place. If you simultaneously receive a place to study human medicine or dentistry at a state medical university in Germany, Austria or Switzerland and therefore do not start your studies abroad, you do not have to pay our placement fee (in this case you only pay the above-mentioned registration fee). In addition to arranging your study place, we also take care of your support on site. We will prepare you for your studies and the admission procedure with preparatory courses so that you are well prepared for your studies abroad. At futuredoctor, we want to help you realise your dream of studying abroad. That's why we not only support you in finding your study place, but also accompany you during your studies.

Is it only possible to start studying medicine in the winter semester?
No, it is also possible to start at certain universities in the summer semester. You can find an overview of the universities we offer here.
Study human medicine with futuredoctor?
You can study human medicine through us at the medical schools in Pilsen, Olomouc, Bratislava, Kashaw, Riga, Stradins, Riga University of Latvia, Kaunas, Semmelweis, Pecs, Timisoara, Cluj, Martin and Nicosa study.

Will my degree in human medicine be recognised throughout the EU?
Yes, thanks to the Bolgona Agreement between the EU member states, your medical degree is easily recognised throughout the EU and in many other international countries. We will also help you after your studies and are always available to answer any questions you may have about your licence to practise medicine and starting your career.
Is it possible to study dentistry with futuredoctor?
You can study dentistry through us at the medical schools in Pilsen, Olomouc, Bratislava, Kashaw, Riga Stradins, Riga University of Latvia, Kaunas, Semmelweis, Pecs, Timisoara and Cluj study.

Will my degree in dentistry be recognised throughout the EU?
Yes, thanks to the Bolgona Agreement between the EU member states, your dental degree will be recognised throughout the EU and in many other international countries without any problems. We will also help you after your studies and are always available to answer any questions you may have about your licence to practise and starting your career.
Is it possible to study veterinary medicine with futuredoctor?
No, unfortunately we do not currently offer a degree programme in veterinary medicine.
When are the application deadlines?
The application deadline varies depending on the university. You can find a list of universities and the respective deadlines here here.
Do I need a Latinum to study abroad?
No, this is not a requirement at any of the universities we offer.
Can I prepare for the entrance exam with futuredoctor?
Yes, as a futuredoctor student you have exclusive access to our learning materials, our e-learning platform with over 90 learning videos in biology and chemistry, as well as an intensive preparation course.
How long does it take to study medicine?
The standard period of study for a medical degree programme is 12 semesters, i.e. 6 years.
Do I need a visa to study medicine abroad?
As a citizen of the European Union, you do not need a visa to study at a university in the EU.
