In which languages can I study at the universities offered by futuredoctor?
In German and in English.
At which universities can I study medicine abroad in German?
Studying medicine abroad in German is possible at the medical faculties in Pecs and in Budapest at the Semmelweis University possible in Hungary.
Can I apply to study medicine abroad with a specialist baccalaureate or a vocational baccalaureate?
Yes, in the Slovakia, Czech Republic and Latvia it is possible!
What costs can I expect for studying medicine abroad?
The exact costs depend on the country and the university you choose to study medicine without NC, TMS, EMS and MedAT.

What makes futuredoctor's offer so special?
futuredoctor was founded by two doctors who also successfully studied medicine in other European countries.
The motivation and idea behind futuredoctor arose from the difficulties that one can expect when studying medicine abroad. From numerous bureaucratic hurdles (certifications and translations of documents into a foreign language, submission of documents, dealing with authorities) to application processes, preparation for entrance exams, finding accommodation, and support for concerns during the studies - the two founders have already been successfully helping future doctors find their place at medical school for over 6 years. Is there an entrance test for studying medicine abroad?
Most universities require an entrance test, some have an individual application process without an entrance test. One of our student advisors will be happy to give you more information about this in a telephone conversation. Simply here make an appointment!
Will I be guaranteed a place at university through futuredoctor?
Medical school places at the universities we Universities offered are primarily awarded via an entrance test.
Therefore, we can unfortunately not give you a guarantee.
Nevertheless, over the years we have been able to continuously improve and optimise our offer in terms of preparation for such entrance tests. We are therefore convinced that if you use the learning materials we provide, attend the preparation courses and study continuously, nothing will stand in your way of a place at medical school.
If I pass the entrance test, am I obliged to accept the place?
No, that's entirely up to you.
Can I retake the entrance test for medical studies abroad?
Yes, you can retake the entrance tests at the medical universities offered by futuredoctor as many times as you like.
What do the services of futuredoctor cost me?
In the course of the application procedure, a one-off application fee of 880 euros is due to futuredoctor. This fee must be paid to the agency (futuredoctor) during the application procedure. If the applicant applies to the agency for more than three universities, an additional application fee of 250 euros is due for each additional university.
In case of successful placement of a study place, the agency receives a one-time placement fee from the applicant in the amount of 9,600 euros. The applicant is considered to have been successfully placed if he/she obtains at least one study place in human medicine or dentistry through the services of the agency. With our agency, you have no additional costs during the entire application process (except for costs incurred for travel, accommodation and meals).
It is important to us that all our applicants receive a place to study medicine and fulfil their dream of studying medicine. So if you get a place at another medical university (e.g. in Germany or Austria) and do not want to study abroad, you do not have to pay our placement fee of 9,600 euros (in this case you only pay the above-mentioned one-off application fee).
Is it only possible to study medicine in the winter semester?
No, it is also possible to start in the summer semester at certain universities. You can find an overview of the universities we offer at here.
Study human medicine with futuredoctor?
You can study human medicine through us in the medical schools in Pilsen, Olomouc, Bratislava, Kashov, Riga, Stradins, Riga University of Latvia, Kaunas, Semmelweis, Pecs, Timisoara, Cluj, Martin and Nikosa study.

Will my degree in human medicine be recognised throughout the EU?
Yes, thanks to the Bolgona Agreement of the EU states, your medical studies are recognised throughout the EU and in many other international countries. We will also help you after your studies and are always available to answer any questions you may have about your licence to practise medicine and starting a career.
Is it possible to study dentistry with futuredoctor?
You can study dentistry through us at the medical schools in Pilsen, Olomouc, Bratislava, Kashov, Riga Stradins, Riga University of Latvia, Kaunas, Semmelweis, Pecs, Timisoara and Cluj study.

Will my dental degree be recognised across the EU?
Yes, thanks to the Bolgona Agreement of the EU states, your dental studies are recognised throughout the EU and in many other international countries without any problems. We will also help you after your studies and are always available to answer any questions you may have about your licence to practise dentistry and your career entry.
Is it possible to study veterinary medicine with futuredoctor?
No, unfortunately we do not currently offer a veterinary medicine degree programme.
When are the application deadlines?
The application deadline differs depending on the university. You can find a list of the universities and their respective deadlines at here.
Do I need a Latin certificate to study abroad?
No, this is not a requirement at any of the universities we offer.
Can I prepare for the entrance test with futuredoctor?
Yes, as a futuredoctor student you have exclusive access to our learning materials, our e-learning platform with over 90 learning videos in biology and chemistry, as well as an intensive preparation course.
How long does it take to study medicine?
The standard period of study for medical studies is 12 semesters, i.e. 6 years.
Do I need a visa to study medicine abroad?
As a citizen of the European Union, you do not need a visa to study at a university in the EU.
